My First Blog

This blog is being created for a class of mine called Generative Art. This class is offered at the school that I attend call NCSA (North Carolina School of the Arts). The class is a very project based class in which we explore art through. I'm currently finding it very interesting. Currently I don't know what I'm going to get out of the class fully other then a new look at the process and some open minded based thinking.

Our first project for this class was to make a sound producing machine. My sound was produced by a 9v battery that spun a small motor with a zip tie attached. The sound produced was from the zip tie hitting the tin can below. The created sound was rather jazzy due to its subtleness and irregular beat. All and all the approach that everyone took to the project was very interesting.
